Ex-Ikeduru SOLAD, Nwabebo Fingered in Sexual Harassment of former Commissioner’s Wife in Imo

Former Sole Administor of Ikeduru Local Governmen Area, Rev CNN Nwabebo has been accused of sexually harassing a former Commissioner’s wife and Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS), Dr Mrs. Ozumba O.E.

In a letter dated March 24, 2023 and Sub-captioned, “MY COMPLAINT, MY PLEA AND MY HUMBLE APPEAL ON MY PREDICAMENT ON PUNITIVE REMOVAL FROM MY DUTY POST WITHOUT FAIR HEARING AS THE DAGS IN IKEDURU LGA FROM AUGUST 2021 TO JANUARY 2023 IN THE HANDS OF THE TREASURER, MR NDUBUISI UCHEGHARA AND THE SOLAD, REV CNN NWANEBU” personally signed by the victim, Dr Mrs. Ozumba O.E with reference No: MTLG/AD/49/XX and obtained by our team of investigators.

The victim accused the former SOLAD, Rev CNN Nwanebo of withhunt to the extent he ploted her removal from office as Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS) of Ikeduru LGA after she refused to accept his love advances for intercourse.

The victim further maintained that initially when she never knew that the former SOLAD wanted to forcefully harass her, he, through his sugar coated mouth told her that his wife and children were living in abroad and so needed a matured woman that would keep him company now that he has secured sensitizing ve job as SOLAD with attractive emoluments.

Similarly, the petition further accused the former SOLAD of criminally collected N2.7 million from an APC Chieftain, Prince Charlvon Iwuamadi to endorse his brother, one David Chidi Iwuamadi Oparaugo as Eze-Elect of Eziala community in Ikeduru LGA.

The petition further revealed that the former SOLAD used the corruption proceed of N2.7m to send his children abroad to unite with his wife in Canada.

The petition reveals that the purpoted endorsement and presentation of David Chidi Iwuamadi to the council headquarters as Eze-Elect did not follow due process as there was a court order obtained by Nnawuch (SAN), restraining the SOLAD and the council from conducting the exercise. The order also challenged the purpoted election of David Chidi Iwuamadi as Eze-Elect of Eziala autonomous community. But the former SOLAD flagrantly ignored the court order and went ahead with the purpoted presentation after allegedly collected the bribe.

The former SOLAD, CNN Nwabebo was further accused of abandoning the Governor’s directives to all local governments to use the Treasury Single Account (TSA) and instead fraudulently opened a new IGR account with Union Bank while leaving the former council IGR account with Access Bank, 0815309321 to be run by the Treasurer, Mr. Ndubuisi Ucheghara. The petition describes the former SOLAD’s action as not only criminal but abuse of office.

The petition further revealed that shortly after his inauguration as SOLAD, the Governor released N20 million for the grading of rural roads in Ikeduru LGA, adding that out of the total sum released, the SOLAD, Rev CNN Nwabebo fraudulently diverted N8, 390, 000, 00 without any explanation.

According to the petition, when Rev CNN Nwabebo was confronted by the DAGS, Drs Mrs Ozumba to explain what the diverted funds were for, the SOLAD arrogantly said that the money was the expenses he incured during his inauguration.

Meanwhile, in his bid to perpetrate his evil and heinous intention of molesting the victim, the former SOLAD, Rev CNN Nwabebo used some stranged looking men suspected to be members of his militia vigilante group to block her from leaving the council headquarters after the close of work. The petition reveals that respite came to the victim when Mrs. Amaka, a Civil Defense Officer came out to rescue her from the den of the cruel SOLAD.

According to the letter, the former SOLAD not comfortable again with the victim began to torment her, threatening to deal with her including frustrating her job at Ikeduru having had the courage to turn down his sex escapade advances.

The victim, a wife to a known former Commissioner in the present APC administration in Imo state cried that all her efforts to reach out to the Governor vide the letter was blocked by the SOLAD and his alleged top homosexual partner in Government House who is highly placed.

According to the letter, the victim earlier cried that the former SOLAD, CNN Nwabebo had threatened to do everything possible to embarrass her from office while boasting that the Governor respects him and does everything he wants since he prophesized to him that he would be Governor few months before the 2019 Governorship election.

The letter further states that after the victim was blocked from obtaining the Governor’s attention, she wrote to the wife of the Governor to address the issue by investigating her complaints and possibly, bring the SOLAD, CNN Nwabebo to book.

Regrettably, Dr Mrs Ozumba cried that up till today, neither the former SOLAD, CNN Nwabebo has been investiated, or prosecuted nor her reinstated to her former position of DAGS which she claimed, she was unjustly removed.

Meanwhile, our team of investigators tried all they could to reach out to the former SOLAD for reaction but he he could not pick calls.

However, a covert investigation on the character of the former SOLAD showed that Rev CNN Nwabebo had allegedly involved in attempted murder case, when he tried to butcher one Nkechi Nzenwata after she refused to abort a pregnancy allegedly responsible by the former SOLAD within 1992/1993. He was also alleged to have involved in various fraudulent practices within home and in abroad, a case of Canadian Bible fraud Canadian Loto business including allegedly escaping from Nigeria to Canada with another person’s passport on the basis of look alike.
