Rapper Drake revealed on Tuesday evening that his Canadian mansion had flooded after heavy rain in the Toronto region for the past few days.
“This better be Espresso Martini,” he captioned a video on his Instagram story. The clip walked viewers through what appears to be a walk-in closet and dressing/vanity area with several inches of brown water on the floor.
Roughly 3.3 inches of rain fell within a few hours in the downtown core of Toronto, according to Environment Canada, the CBC reports.
The rain flooded streets and homes, knocking out power to thousands. Others were forced to abandon their cars on flooded roads; Toronto Fire told the CBC that crews rescued at least 12 people from Don Valley Parkway, which runs alongside the overflowing Don River in the city’s east end.
