Harrison Gwamnishu Denies Wrongdoing, Resigns From Labour Party

Harrison Gwamnishu, the Labour Party’s candidate for the House of Assembly in Aniocha South Constituency, has resigned from the party effective immediately.

Gwamnishu’s resignation comes amidst allegations of betrayal during the 2023 Governorship and House of Assembly Elections. The Aniocha South Local Government Labour Party Executive had accused him of compromising the party’s interests.

In his resignation letter, Gwamnishu denied the allegations and expressed regret over the situation. He thanked Labour Party leaders, including Peter Obi and Chief Anthony Ezeagu, for their support and wished the party success in its future endeavors.
