President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) at the State House in Abuja.
The agenda, though not officially confirmed, is likely related to the planned nationwide protest starting on August 1.
The meeting is led by PGF Chairman and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, along with Nigeria Governors Forum Chairman Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman of Kwara State.
Other attendees include several state governors, the National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and the ministers of Finance and Budget & Economic Planning.
This meeting follows a Nigeria Governors’ Forum session held Wednesday evening and the cancellation of the National Economic Council meeting scheduled for Thursday noon.
