Tinubu and Mbasogo Sign Gulf of Guinea Gas Pipeline Agreement

Presidents Bola Tinubu of Nigeria and Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea have signed an agreement in Malabo for the Gulf of Guinea Pipeline Project. The deal covers legislative frameworks, pipeline ownership, and natural gas transit, aiming to boost gas exploration and create jobs.

The leaders also discussed security, conflict resolution, and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), underscoring their commitment to regional cooperation and Africa’s development.
