Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has lavished praise on young defender Rico Lewis, describing him as a “top, top player” with exceptional skills.
In an interview with Sky, Guardiola highlighted Lewis’s impressive defensive capabilities, saying: “In the one-against-ones defensively, he’s unbelievable.”
The City coach also praised Lewis’s movement and positioning, stating: “In the pockets, he moves like a player few times I’ve seen in my life!”
Guardiola’s glowing assessment of Lewis concluded with: “He does everything good!”, indicating the high regard in which he holds the talented youngster.
