Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed, a distinguished son of Lafiagi, in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State has been appointed as the new Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) by President Bola Tinubu.
Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed, a seasoned diplomat and intelligence expert, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
He has served in various capacities, including as Nigerian Ambassador to Libya, Director at the NIA, and postings in North Korea, Pakistan, Sudan, and State House, Abuja.
Born in Lafiagi, Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State, Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed graduated from Bayero University, Kano in 1990.
His appointment as NIA DG is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and commitment to service.
