A Nigerian soldier has made shocking allegations that the federal government is funding bandits and terrorists in Northern Nigeria. In a video that has gone viral, the soldier, who claimed to be of Northern extraction, accused the government of sponsoring banditry and terrorism in the region.
The soldier alleged that the government is making money from the crisis and that Nigerian soldiers are being prevented from taking action against the bandits and terrorists. He claimed that the soldiers have the capability to dislodge the bandits from their strongholds but are not being given the order to do so.
“We have weapons, we have training, but we are not being allowed to use them,” the soldier said. “The government knows that if there’s no crisis, they won’t make any money. That’s why they are sponsoring banditry and terrorism in Nigeria.”
