Senator Tony Nwoye Condemns Unknown Gunmen Attack On Ogbaru Local Government Headquaters

The Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial district in National Assembly has condemned the brutal attack on Atani Headquaters of Ogbaru Local Government Area by unknown gunmen. He described the said attack as worrisome and a grave concern as many residents and businesses in the affected locality now operate in extreme fear for their lives and properties.

The Senator equally called on all security agencies in Anambra State especially in Ogbaru Local Government to step up their actions and activities to mitigate the security breach and to guard against such occurrence in the future.Section 14 (2)(b)of 1999 constitution of Nigeria provides that security of lives and properties shall be the primary purpose of Government hence the passionate appeal to security agencies of Government to live up to expectation.

Furthermore,Senator Tony Nwoye equally commiserate and sympathize with those whose properties were vandalized ,injured and or dead where applicable.

Finally Senator Nwoye equally urged citizens and residents to report any suspicious movement or information on time to security agencies for appropriate action.He equally urged security agencies to act timeously on information to curb future occurrence.
