Bill Gates Announces New Micronutrient Supplements for Pregnant Women in Nigeria to Combat Maternal Anaemia and Save 70,000 Babies.
Bill Gates has announced the introduction of new Micronutrient Supplements (MMS) to the prenatal care regimen for pregnant women in Nigeria. A total of three million bottles of MMS will be distributed across the country to help reduce two million cases of maternal anaemia and potentially save the lives of 70,000 babies.
