The Enugu State Government has announced a change in the resumption date for Government Technical College (GTC), Enugu, due to ongoing reconstruction and remodeling works at the school.
In a public service announcement, the Executive Chairman of the Science, Technical and Vocational Schools Management Board, Dr. Amaka Ngene, stated that GTC Enugu will not resume on September 9th, 2024, as previously scheduled, alongside other schools in the state.
A new resumption date will be announced shortly, and parents, guardians, and students are assured that the government is working to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
The remodeling of the school is part of the state’s efforts to introduce a disruptive innovation in education, with a focus on experiential curriculum learning.
