Former Ikwerre Local Government Chairman, Samuel Nwanosike, has clarified that former Governor Nyesom Wike has not received any formal invitation or letter to appear before a PDP disciplinary committee.
In a recent video shared by TVC, Nwanosike emphasized that a party leader of Wike’s stature cannot be summoned verbally, stressing that no letter has been issued to him.
He also revealed that the individual who allegedly announced Wike’s invitation to face disciplinary committee over anti-party activities has denied making such a statement, claiming they were quoted out of context.
Nwanosike stated, “There is no invitation, Nyesom Wike is one of the bright stars of the party and a man that has stood for the party even before 2015.”
This clarification comes amidst speculation and controversy surrounding Wike’s alleged invitation to face disciplinary action. Nwanosike’s statement aims to set the record straight and put the matter to rest, allowing the party to move forward.
