Women’s Champions League referee, Emanuela Rusta deactivated her IG account because she is ‘tired of being harassed by the fans’ has revealed that she is tired of being called a ‘s3xy ref’ after officiating a Women’s Champions league match.
Rusta, 30, hails from Albania, became the first woman to referee a match in the Albanian SuperLiga men’s match.
After the game, she climbed the European stage in recent months and was the referee for the women’s September 19 Champions League game between Sporting Lisbon and Real Madrid.
She has now deactivated her Instagram account for receiving s£xx messages on the platform as men refer to her bikini and gym photos.
Rusta has been forced to put up with headlines such as ‘the hot-pressed judge’ in his country.
