Governor of Bayelsa state Douye Diri has said that his administration has made giant strides in bringing dividends of democracy to the people.
Governor Diri made the disclosure at the state house of assembly in Yenagoa, while presenting the 2025 budget to the house.
According to the governor, the 2024 budget has surpassed 70 percent, as he stressed on some of his landmark achievements. On the 2025 budget tagged assured prosperity, governor Diri gave a breakdown of the N689 billion proposed budget.
Responding, the speaker Bayelsa house of assembly Hon Abraham Ingobere, said the house will follow due diligence in ensuring speedy passage of the appropriation bill.
