A raid was carried due to the Intel gathered by NAFDAC Investigation & Enforcement Directorate for illegal operation at the Lagos Trade Fair Complex where expired alcoholic and Non alcoholic beverages were being revalidated for resale.
Two suspects were apprehended removing expired beverage labels and replacing them with falsified date markings.
Consumers are advised to exercise caution during purchases, most especially this festive season.
