These efforts drive sustainable growth and foster a thriving business environment in the state.
Among the many impactful initiatives implemented by the Enugu SME Center, the SMEDAN Grant Program has stood out as a cornerstone of support for entrepreneurs. The equipment support grants provided through this program were valued in the millions, significantly boosting small businesses across the state.
A shining example is the CEO of “Queen’s Makeover,” a local beauty salon, who received a grant to enhance her business operations. With the funds, she acquired additional makeup tables, chairs, solar panels, and other essential equipment, enabling her to operate more efficiently and achieve greater profitability.
This success story underscores the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, whose dedication to SME development continues to drive rapid economic growth in Enugu State. We also recognize the strategic leadership of Mr. Arinze Chilo-Offiah, who has steered the Enugu SME Agency to effectively deliver on the Governor’s vision.
