José Mourinho has dismissed rumors linking Cristiano Ronaldo to Fenerbahçe, calling them “ridiculous.
The Fenerbahçe manager joked that while Ronaldo might stop in Istanbul to eat, as it lies between Saudi Arabia and Portugal, there’s no truth to the transfer speculation.
Mourinho added, “Maybe he’ll come to see his old friend Jose, we can eat at my hotel!” The comments put an end to swirling rumors about the Portuguese superstar’s potential move to the Turkish club.
