Police operatives in Adamawa State have arrested two suspects in connection with the d3ath of a police officer, Ibrahim Maizabiwa.
The suspects: Ezekiel Kefas, 67, and Stephen Zabadi, 44, were arrested after the victim’s son reported the matter to the police on November 19, 2024.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said the officer was att@cked after allegedly taking a clay pot of soup that fell and shattered.
The incident occurred in Wamsa-Suwa Ward, Lamurde LGA of the state.
“Our investigation revealed that the deceased was a police officer attached to the Gombe State Command. He visited his friend, Ezekiel Kefas, who resides at Wamsa Suwa. He was killed and buried in the community,” Nguroje said
