Residents and leaders of Ajah town in Lagos staged a protest at the Lagos State Assembly in Ikeja, voicing their opposition to the Olumegbon family serving as chiefs or Baales in their community.
The protesters demanded government intervention, alleging imposition and lack of representation in traditional leadership.
Chants and placards calling for justice and autonomy filled the air as the group urged the Assembly to address their grievances and ensure fair leadership practices.
