Governor Oborevwori Advances Education and Infrastructure Development in Riverine Communities

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has reaffirmed his commitment to quality education and infrastructure development in riverine communities. This was evident during the commissioning of the Ogulagha Model Secondary School in Burutu Local Government Area on October 5, 2024.

At the event, and while delivering remarks at the commissioning of a Faculty Lecture Complex at the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Governor Oborevwori announced plans to scope an access road to the University and construct the Oporoza Model Secondary School. These initiatives aim to provide students with a modern learning environment and skills required for success in the 21st-century marketplace.

Fulfilling his promise, the Delta State Executive Council approved the construction of the projects on November 11, 2024. Governor Oborevwori’s administration continues to prioritize access to quality education and critical infrastructure as part of its development agenda for Delta State.
