Popular Nollywood stars Funke Akindele and Fathia Balogun are reportedly not on speaking terms, with speculations that the actresses have blocked each other on Instagram. Insider sources suggest that the rift stems from a series of perceived slights between the two actresses.
According to reports, Funke Akindele was upset that Fathia Balogun did not attend her recent movie premiere but instead opted to attend Mercy Aigbe’s event, which happened on the same day.
On the other hand, Fathia is said to have skipped Funke’s premiere because Funke did not attend her father’s burial.
Despite the tension, sources close to the actresses believe this is just a temporary misunderstanding. “Funke and Fathia love each other a lot, and this fight won’t last long unless someone fuels it further,” an insider shared.
