The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) have called on Economic and Financial Crime Commission to urgently investigate the allegations of monumental fraud involving its former presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
This they say will serve as deterrent to other unscrupulous politicians who are hiding under the canopies of political parties to fraudulent enrich Themselves in every election year.
National Secretary of the Party, Oginni Olaposi made the call while addressing journalists in Abuja, on Wednesday.
He alleged that the former Governor of Kano State ran to the Kano State High Court to procure an order of court to restrain EFCC from investigating him and others, adding that Kwankwaso action is in attempt to escape investigation.
Olaposi however charged Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankaso to submit himself to the anti graft agency for thorough investigation on the allegations of fraud and financial infringement in relation to the new Nigeria people party campaign funds and donations for the 2023 elections.
