Nigerian entrepreneur and socialite, Jaruma, has taken to social media to accuse popular philanthropist and activist, The VeryDarkMan (VDM), of mismanaging ₦180 million meant for his NGO.
In a fiery statement, Jaruma alleged that the funds donated by Nigerians to support the less privileged have been diverted for personal indulgence. According to her, VDM has been spending lavishly on luxury cars, expensive club outings, and extravagant cash giveaways.
“He’s trying us to see reactions,” Jaruma said. “If Nigerians no bother, that ₦180 million is gone. But if Nigerians no gree, he will come out and say the money has been found.”
Jaruma also criticized VDM’s actions, claiming that money has “tempted” him to compromise his integrity. She further accused him of hypocrisy, saying, “VDM has tasted money now and is just as weak as a snake, like all the politicians in Nigeria.”
She called for Nigerians to hold him accountable but advised critics to approach the matter cautiously, stating, “If you want to criticize, take am small small because you no holy pass.”
