Ekiti Gov Appoints Chief Of Staff

The governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, on Wednesday, January 1, approved the appointment of Oyeniyi Adebayo as his chief of staff.

The current Ekiti State’s commissioner for budget, economic planning and performance management, Adeyabo’s appointment takes effect from today January 2, 2025.

His appointment was announced by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Yinka Oyebode, who assured that Adebayo will bring his wealth of experience in finance, management and planning in his new role as chief of staff to the governor.

A native of Usi-Ekiti in Ekiti State, Adabayo became part of the governor’s administration in November 2022, when he was appointed as a Special Adviser for Budget, Economic Planning and Performance Management.

In August 2023, he was inaugurated as a commissioner in charge of the ministry.
