Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has taken a significant step toward securing the signature of Napoli’s star winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, as the two parties have agreed on personal terms. The Georgian international is set to sign a five-year contract with PSG, which will reportedly quadruple or quintuple his current salary, still based on his initial deal with Napoli from 2021.
The French giants are now intensifying negotiations with Napoli, as revealed earlier this week, with discussions ongoing to finalize the transfer. Napoli is reportedly holding out for an €80 million package, which PSG is working to meet.
In a bid to sweeten the deal, PSG has also proposed including Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar as part of the negotiations. Despite this, Napoli remains firm on their valuation of the 22-year-old winger, who has become one of Europe’s most sought-after talents.
A crucial meeting between the two clubs is scheduled for next week, with both sides keen on reaching an agreement. If finalized, the transfer would mark a significant coup for PSG, bolstering their attacking options as they aim for domestic and European glory.
