There have been several reactions from social media users after Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Invited the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi to come and retweet a report stating that $1 is now exchanging for N1,550.
According to a post that Bayo Onanuga shared on his official X handle on Thursday and titled “The Naira finds its footing as it stabilizes” Bloomberg reported that since December, the naira is between N1,550 and N1,520 per dollar.
However, after sharing the post, Bayo Onanuga stated that the naira has started holding its ground against other currencies. He however, called on the former governor of Anambra state to share the story on his official page.
Here is what Bayo Onanuga wrote on his page;
“The naira is holding its ground against the greenback and other currencies. This is good news, not bad news. I invite Mr. Peter Obi to retweet the exhilarating story”.
