We know a leader by what he has done and what he is capable of doing. Some political leaders are not worthy to occupy public office because of lack of trust and confidence by the citizens. But His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mba the Executive Governor of Enugu State is wide different from others. His difference is clear, leading with evidence and many infrastructural transformations.
His passwords are sincerity, good governance, optimum security, service delivery and poverty alleviation.
When he came on board a year ago during his inaugural speech, he vividly put it to the notice of the citizens that his purpose of vying for governorship is to transform Enugu State and make it a Dubai in Nigeria. To reshape Enugu State politics inorder to favor everyone irrespective of your region, religions, belief, party affiliation and others. His political visita is strengthening our democracy where transparency, accountability, equity, justice, and Fairness would reflect to the general public. Mba has set a political platform whereby nothing will be hiding from the citizens, running the people inclusive government, a testament of his well planned political journey for greater and progressive Enugu State.
He has the citizens in mind for progress, ensuring that their welfare are met at the appropriate time. Over the week he has indefinitely cancelled the payment of tuition fees among the junior secondary schools across the state which could also be interpreted as free education from JSS1-3 in the public schools across Enugu State. This will go along way to cushion hardship among the parents and minimize the out of school children in our streets. Hmmm! What a good governor in this horrible economy like Dr. Peter Mba. What a glorious moment to the parents for ending the payment of school fees from JSS1-3 on the same vein pronounced free JAMB registration for our JAMB entry students who could not pay the registration. Sometimes I lack words to describe the person of His Excellency Dr. Peter Mba but I conclude him as MANSA MUSA of Mali Empire and Robinson Great of Scotland who fought to make lives easier and better for their citizens.
Leadership and governance are not easy at the beginning but those who understand the game and tenet of democracy always see light at end of the tunnel.
When His Excellency assumed office newly, it was as If nothing would happen in Enugu State in terms of infrastructures. Some myopic minds misunderstood him. Propagandist was busy clustering space with baseless words not knowing that ODOGWU NWERE PLANS. Those gullible who were footed by the opposition party Saw the beginning of the wonder working Governor of Enugu State as an abberation because Dr. Mba didn’t come to share Enugu State resources recklessly or diverting the state fund into their wide burrowed gullet and their balon – like belly. They never know he came to channel the state resources to where the citizens can see, touch, feel and be proud of. He came to channel the state resources where we could have standard schools with British curriculum, quality education, trained teachers, hospitals with the state of modern day technology and lots more. Thank God he is a brave man who is fully prepared to give Enugu State the NEW life they desired for. Today, our dear State is shining rapidly because of Nwoke Olu Doro Anya.
His transformative activities in Enugu State has caused panic to the enemies of good governance because our Governor is busy working and transforming the state to be a destination to even the generation unborn. There are massive rebirth since Governor Peter Mba became our governor.
Governor Peter Mba is a solution to any crippled economy. Whenever he goes economy must quickly grow. His mission of growing our economy from 3 billion to 40 billion is fast manifesting. Leadership is by divine grace not by human appearance. Whoever God bestowed the oil of leadership should be giving unalloyed support. He has bestowed leadership grace upon Peter Mba and we shall continue to support him for our tomorrow is here.
