President Tinubu Declares March 14 National Honours For 17 military Officers Killed In Okuama

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has posthumously awarded the 17 military officers killed in Okuama community on March 14 with National Honours

While speaking at their funeral currently holding at the National Military Cemetery Abuja, President Tinubu said the 4 ranking officers have been awarded with the Member of the Order of Niger (MON)

The remaining 13 officers have been awarded with the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR).

President Tinubu also mentioned that the Federal Government will provide housing to each of the families of the fallen heroes anywhere they chose within the country.

He announced that the Federal Government will also award the children of the fallen heroes full educational scholarships to University level including the ones still in the womb of their mothers.

He directed the Military Pensions Board to pay up all emoluments within 90days
