Students of the Bethesda Home and School for the Blind in Lagos State recently recited the three stanzas of the “Nigeria, We Hail Thee” anthem during their morning assembly.
The school disclosed this in a video shared on X.com on Monday with the caption, “Monday motivation from our talented stars!
“Watch our amazing students at Bethesda School for the Blind sing the national anthem and fill your week with pride and joy!”
Following President Bola Tinubu’s decision to reinstate “Nigeria, We Hail Thee” as the national anthem, replacing “Arise, O Compatriots,” some Nigerians, including schools, have started making efforts to learn the old anthem.
Last Friday, pupils of Justice and Peace Primary School in Ogbere-Ijebu, Ogun State, recited all three stanzas of the reintroduced anthem during their morning assembly.
