The Enugu State Government Taskforce has successfully recovered five bags of rice stolen from Ogbete Main Market. The market security team found the rice at the scavengers’ dump in the Akwata area of the market.

The government is urging residents to join the fight against scavengers, also known as “Ndi Iron Condemn” or “Scrap Collectors”, who have been causing harm to the community. The taskforce is working to address the scavengers’ menace and ensure the safety and security of Enugu State residents.
