In a bid to strengthen trade and security ties between Nigeria and the European Union, Olawepo-Hashim met with top EU officials in Brussels, Belgium. The meeting, held at the European Union Commission Secretariat, saw discussions centered around issues of security and trade.
Olawepo-Hashim held fruitful talks with Thomas Valiant, Deputy Head of Unit Market Access, Industry Energy and Raw Materials; Urzula Strepkowska, Deputy Head of Unit Africa, Caribbean and Pacific Countries and Territories; and Jonas Frips.
The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation between Nigeria and the EU on trade and energy security, with a focus on boosting economic growth and addressing security challenges.
