Former Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, popularly known as Gburugburu, has demonstrated his philanthropic nature by donating a substantial cash gift to Miss Obiamaka Eunice Akpa, a patient suffering from severe complications of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus which is affecting her vital organs.

The gesture came after Ugwuanyi learned about Akpa’s medical condition, which had been complicated by a lack of funds for treatment at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu.
Ugwuanyi’s free surgery and medical program has been providing free drugs for Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, and Prostate enlargement to mitigate the complications of these diseases. He urged individuals with these conditions to contact his program’s director for access to free medication.
