The Association of Movie Practitioners (AMPRAC) has urged its members to strictly comply with the rules and regulations established by the Nigerian Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).
This directive was given by the President of AMPRAC, Mr. Ifeanyi Azodo, during the State Chairmen Conference held at Belwood Hotels in Asaba.
In a statement released on Sunday, the National Director of Media and Publicity for AMPRAC highlighted Mr. Azodo’s emphasis on the importance of adhering to NFVCB standards for movie production.
Azodo stressed that all members, particularly producers, must ensure their films meet the NFVCB’s standards and are properly censored.
“Mr. Ifeanyi Azodo underscored the necessity for all association members to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the NFVCB, ensuring that all movies produced meet the board’s standards,” the statement read.
The event, held on July 19, brought together AMPRAC chairmen from across the country.
Additionally, AMPRAC announced plans to hold its main event in Benin City, Edo State, in November 2025.
