Dangote Group has denied fixing petrol prices, refuting a Punch Newspaper headline that suggested a projection of N600/litre by the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN).
The company clarified that IPMAN is not a business partner, and they have never discussed fuel pricing with them.
Dangote urged the public to disregard such speculative reports, emphasizing that official communications are made through their designated channels.
