Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar welcomed a delegation led by former Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai to his Asokoro residence yesterday. The delegation came to formally request the hand of Atiku’s daughter, Hafsat Atiku Abubakar, in marriage.
The gathering was attended by prominent dignitaries, including National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, former governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State, among others.
The occasion showcased the esteem in which Atiku Abubakar is held and highlighted the significance of the union between the two families.
