Late music legend, Onyeka Onwenu, popularly known as the “Elegant Stallion” has been laid to rest in Lagos.
Onyeka Onwenu, who died at 72, reportedly collapsed after performing at the 80th birthday party of the Chief Executive Officer of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Stella Okolie, in Lagos.
The funeral service took place at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos, and was followed by a private burial in a vault in Ikoyi.
Notably, former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi was seen at the event.
