The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Electoral Committee in Benue State has announced that the official release of the primary election results for council polls conducted across the state is yet to be sanctioned.
According to Chief Hon. Mike Adyo, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, the committee is still verifying and validating the results to ensure their accuracy and authenticity.
Adyo warned that any attempts by individuals or groups to announce results without authorization should be disregarded, and urged stakeholders to respect the electoral process and await the official announcement of the results.
The official results are expected to be released in due course, and the committee has assured the public that they will be transparent and fair in their process.
This development comes as the PDP prepares for the upcoming local government elections in Benue State, and the committee’s move is seen as a step towards ensuring the integrity of the electoral process.
