The governor also expressed dissatisfaction with the lackadaisical attitude towards government projects awarded as contracts to prominent leaders in the state, particularly the housing estates at Izo Autonomous Community in Ishielu Local Government Area. He issued a directive to the Commissioner for Housing to ensure the immediate painting of the houses.

Governor Nwifuru urged the people of the state to report any government projects experiencing delays by contractors. He emphasized that anyone working against his government is also working against the interests of Izhi-Nnodo Ekumenyi.
