The Delta state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) , has concluded it’s state-wide congress.
It was a peaceful and well attended congress devoid of the bickering that has come to define many of such political activities elsewhere.
All the Party’s big wigs were in attendance. The Governor of Delta state, H E Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, his predecessor in office and PDP’s Vice Presidential candidate during the 2023 presidential election , Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Sen. Ned Nwoko , Senator representing Delta North ,
H E Sir Monday Onyeme ,
Rt. Hon. Nicholas Mutu , Member representing Bomadi, Patani fed. Constituency , Rt. Hon, Victor Nwokolo , Ika fed. Constituency ,
Rt. Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko , Isoko Federal constituency ,
Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi , Ndokwa Federal constituency , Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor ,
Speaker of DTHA ,
Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo , Deputy Speaker DTHA , Sen. James Manager ,
Chief Nkem Okwuofu and others were present.
It was the measure of understanding in the Party and peaceful relationship, especially between Gov. Oborevwori and Senator Okowa that the congress recorded no incident at all.
By 10 am the exercise has commenced in earnest and before 4 pm it has been concluded with the newly elected executives who would superintend the affairs of the party in the next four years in place.
