Manchester United’s CEO and director have publicly backed manager Erik ten Hag, confirming their full support for him.
In a statement, Berrada said: “Erik has our full backing and we’ve worked very closely together. We’re going to continue working very closely with him.”
Ashworth added: “I’ve really enjoyed working with Erik so far. My job is to support him in every way I possibly can to fully focus on the training pitch. He’s our man for our project, the decision is clear.”
The vote of confidence comes after a mixed start to the season for Manchester United, with ten Hag facing scrutiny from fans and pundits alike.
However, the club’s top executives have made it clear that they are committed to giving ten Hag the time and resources he needs to succeed.
With their backing, ten Hag will look to turn things around and bring success to Old Trafford.
