President Bola Tinubu and Chinese President Xi Jinping have elevated the relationship between Nigeria and China to a comprehensive strategic partnership, marking a new era of collaboration.
The leaders, meeting in Beijing, agreed to strengthen ties in trade, economic development, and security. The discussions led to the signing of multiple Memoranda of Understanding, including initiatives in nuclear energy, media cooperation, human resource development, and the Belt and Road Initiative.
Additionally, Tinubu explored partnership opportunities with Chinese giants like Huawei and the China Railway Construction Corporation, further aligning Nigeria’s growth with China’s global initiatives.
