The Senator Representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Dr Tony Nwoye, has hailed Catholic Mothers for their indefatigable and immeasurable roles and contributions to Nation Building as they mark 60th anniversary of their Existence. Dr Tony Nwoye joined other Prominent Anambrians at Bethany Hall, Holy Trinity Cathedral Onitsha to celebrate this great Milestone which also coincided with the birthday of Our Lady of Fatima, Most Holy Virgin Mary.
Senator Dr Tony Nwoye lauded great accomplishments of the Catholic Mothers over the years. I must sincerely comm me the Leadership and members for the group for their commitment and devotion to the Church and society.
Dr Tony Nwoye urged Mothers to continue their role in Church and Nation Building. He stated that most social vices can be eradicated through the conscious efforts of Mothers, urging them to use their inherent abilities in Building a suitable and Peaceful Society.
The 60th Anniversary celebration showcased the rich cultural heritage and Values upheld by Catholic Mothers. These include a Fashion parade, Cultural Dances and quiz Competitions which added excitement to the Event.
The Anniversary witnessed cake cutting to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Group, with all personalities coming together to cut the Symbolic 60th Anniversary Celebration.
Some of the personalities that graced the Occasion include Senator Victor Umeh, Hon Emeka Iduh, Sir Paul Chukwuma and many others.
