The PDP was contesting against Inec and NPF. The greatest threat to Nigeria’s democracy is INEC, NPF and APC.
I have been getting calls from all corners and hearing news from Bush FM about how so many PDP persons, stalwarts, officials, followers, campaign directors, and even the Governor flopped on election day in Edo. I have heard so many people speak out of frustration and regret, so many friends of mine beaten and rough-handled by thugs in police uniforms.
While the blame game and finger-pointing are expected, they shouldn’t be misdirected or pointed to the wrong persons or circles because the PDP wasn’t contesting against APC or LP. Rather, the PDP was contesting against Inec and the Nigerian police force.
The PDP was from the onset contesting to lose, and there was nothing under the heavens that would come to their rescue. The electoral umpire, which was supposed to be independent, became partisan.
I will urge all PDP faithful to channel their energies and synergize, bring out hard evidence, and present them in court. The rigging machine of APC must be crushed and the partisanship of INEC must be stopped.
Until the people get better, we will not rest. I stand with Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie
