Nigerian musician Sean Kuti has made shocking allegations against the entertainment industry, claiming that many artistes and entertainers are involved in money laundering.
In a recent interview, Kuti stated, “I’ve been touring for 20 years, and I’m only able to build a house this year. Most of your artistes and entertainers are involved in money laundering.”
He specifically referenced popular crossdresser Bobrisky, questioning the source of his wealth. “Ask yourself, what is Bobrisky really working that he goes around spraying money and buying mansions?”
Kuti alleged that some entertainers use their platforms to clean dirty money, deceiving young fans into thinking they can achieve similar success through legitimate means.
“My problem is they deceive the young ones,” Kuti said. “They make them think there’s money in what they’re doing, when in reality, their money comes from dirty dealings.”
Kuti expressed support for influencer VeryDarkMan, who recently leaked a voice tape allegedly exposing Bobrisky’s corrupt activities.
“I’m happy VDM had to leak that voice tape,” Kuti said.
