The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has condemned Chief Edozie Njoku’s threat to suspend Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, describing it as an empty threat and an affront to the justice system.
APGA emphasized that there is no court judgment or pronouncement recognizing Njoku as the party’s National Chairman
According to APGA, Njoku’s actions are “brigandage” and the party has taken legal steps to address the anomaly, including challenging the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to show proof of any court order recognizing Njoku’s leadership. The Court of Appeal in Abuja has granted APGA leave to challenge INEC on this matter.
APGA urged its members to remain calm and trust the judiciary to resolve the issue, while warning Njoku not to take the party’s calm disposition as cowardice.
The party reaffirmed its commitment to the rule of law and expressed confidence in its ability to overcome the current crisis.
