“We are currently on the Shagamu-Benin Expressway, which begins at the interchange of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Our purpose here is to personally inspect the situation and understand what has led to the complete breakdown and collapse of this road, causing significant hardship for commuters traveling from Lagos to the southeast and south-south zones of the country, as well as those traveling from those regions to Lagos or other destinations.
This visit underscores our commitment to finding immediate solutions to ease the suffering of commuters and restore this vital road to full functionality. “
