Onyeze Jesus’s Fake Lifestyle Exposed As Kidnappers Extend Deadline for ₦200 Million Ransom Payment

Onyeze Jesus

The recent kidnapping of popular Nkpor-based prophet Onyeze Jesus has raised serious concerns within his family as his abductors demand a staggering ransom of 200 million naira. Initially, the kidnappers set a deadline for payment last Saturday but later extended it upon realizing that the self-proclaimed spiritual leader may not possess the wealth he often claims.

Family members of Onyeze Jesus have launched a fundraising campaign, struggling to meet the exorbitant ransom. Sources close to the situation reveal that the prophet’s reported lifestyle and the possessions he showcases online were fake, as those exotic cars were not his; they are all hired.

Content creator Okongwu Dibia, a relative of Onyeze Jesus, shared insights from a recent visit to the prophet’s home and family house. He noted that while Onyeze Jesus may not be poor, he lacks the substantial funds required for the ransom. “All the cars he displays during his Facebook live videos are merely for show and do not belong to him,” Okongwu stated. He further appealed to the kidnappers to consider the welfare of Onyeze Jesus’s young family, highlighting that his twins are still infants.

Onyeze’s siblings are also actively seeking assistance from Ndígbo to come to their rescue and forgive their brother if he has offended anyone in any way before, asking umuigbo to assist them in raising funds for his release. His elder sister, a mama-put seller in Mgbuka Nkpor, joined her half brother Okongwo Dibia in pleading for support, while their eldest brother, who works as a manual labourer in the same area, expressed desperation for help. They hope to raise at least 50 million naira to negotiate with the kidnappers for his safe return.
