President Bola Tinubu has asked the Nigerian Senate to screen and confirm seven ministerial nominees.
Galaxy Television reports that the executive communication was contained in a letter read by President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio during plenary session on Thursday.
The request has been referred to the committee of the whole for expeditious consideration. The president fired five ministers and appointed these new ones in a cabinet shakeup on Wednesday.
