Enugu State will observe a complete lockdown on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, following a declaration by activist Simon Ekpa. This move comes in response to the tragic murder of renowned traditional Ogene musician Okezie Chikezie Mba, popularly known as Igbo-Jah.
The sit-at-home order aims to honor Mba’s legacy and demand justice for his untimely death. Ekpa emphasized that the day would be dedicated to hunting down those responsible for the musician’s killing, declaring, “Enough is enough.”
Residents are urged to stay indoors in solidarity as the community seeks answers and justice in the wake of this significant loss.
