Assault Allegations: National Association Seadogs Calls for NASS Investigation of Alex Ikwechegh

Following the arrest of a federal lawmaker lawmaker Alex Ikwechegh who assaulted ride hailing driver, Stephen Abuwatseya, the National Assembly has been advised to institute an impartial investigation and ensure that Justice is served.

The National Association of Seadog made the call during a protest at the frontage of the National Assembly in Abuja on Tuesday.

The group, which wielded placards with various inscriptions to deride the lawmaker also called for prosecution of the lawmaker if found guilty.

Speaking on behalf the group, Viktor Ikiroko, described the actions of the lawmaker as distasteful and fall short of the ethical conduct of a Federal lawmaker, calling for appropriate legal action upon completion pf the investigation.

Recall a member representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency, seen a viral video on social media threatening to make hail driver disappear without trace, while landing slaps on him when he asked for payment for the services rendered.
